I’m honored to be your guide on this journey.
My name is Radha Gholkar. I’m a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience in a variety of mental health roles. Each experience has brought me back to this truth – that our wellness is inextricably linked to the world around us.
In 2026, amidst the many challenges we are collectively confronting, I decided to begin practicing as an ecotherapist.
Licensed Maryland psychologist #05255
University of Maryland College Park (PhD, MA) & New York University (BA)
Advanced training from the Center for Nature Informed Therapy
Maryland Master Naturalist
CPR/AED certified
Throughout my career, I have seen the limits of reactive, illness-focused care.
Emerald Ecotherapy is my response — an offering rooted in resilience and wellbeing, designed to support individuals and communities in an accessible, affordable format.
My approach is grounded in two principles: a deep respect for the natural landscapes of the Mid-Atlantic and its inhabitants, and a belief in the restorative power of the outdoors.
